Duty Free's second largest category has specific shopping missions amongst its diverse buyer base. Retailer and brands can tap into greater sales by understanding the nuances to see their sales flow improve.

CiR insight has revealed that there are new emerging trends in the category, with Millennials and next-gen travellers evolving their relationship with alcohol within the domestic space. Brands and retailers in Duty Free need to accept this step change and react accordingly in Travel Retail.

Research was conducted through 7,738 online interviews with passengers who had travelled internationally in the last 12 months, and visited the Liquor category in duty free.
